Man Arrested After Firing Gun Inside Miami International Airport Garage

Francisco Mendiola, 31, was arrested Wednesday after allegedly firing four shots inside a parking garage at Miami International Airport, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office. One bullet struck a car windshield.

Arrest and Court Appearance

Mendiola was taken into custody at the scene. He appeared before a Miami-Dade County judge the following day and remains held on a $26,000 bond.

Parts of the airport were shut down for several hours during the incident.
