Miami Talks is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly, transparently, and without concealment.
How We Handle Corrections
When a factual error is identified in a published article, we will update the article as quickly as possible and add a clearly visible correction notice at the top or bottom of the article indicating what was changed and when.
Types of Corrections
Minor corrections (spelling, grammar, formatting) may be made silently.
Factual corrections will be noted with a correction notice.
Significant corrections that materially affect the story’s meaning will be prominently disclosed.
Requesting a Correction
If you believe an article contains an error, please contact us at news@miamitalks.com with the article URL, the specific inaccuracy, and any supporting documentation. We aim to review all correction requests within 48 hours.
Retractions
In rare cases where an article is found to be fundamentally flawed or based on false information, we will issue a retraction and remove or replace the article, clearly noting the retraction.
