Miami-Dade County signed a $975,000 marketing deal tied to temporary Grand Theft Auto VI promotion at the county-owned Kaseya Center.
The report says workers assembled a “Welcome to Vice City” message on the arena roof Tuesday afternoon, with the letters deployed by helicopter. The signage is part of a broader Rockstar Games campaign ahead of the game’s planned November debut.
The Herald also reported that Mayor Daniella Levine Cava signed the Kaseya Center agreement on Sept. 10 and that her administration wants proceeds from the deal to help fund the long-delayed Parcel B park behind the arena. The outlet said Miami and Miami Beach have also signed marketing deals with Rockstar Games.
