Steve Gallon IV Gets Five-Year Sentence After Guilty Plea

Steve Gallon IV pleaded guilty to attempted murder in the shooting of an undercover Miami-Dade officer. Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Alberto Milian sentenced him to five years in prison.

Gallon will receive credit for more than three years spent in custody at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. He had been held there since his arrest in March 2023.

Court records cited in the report say the officer was grazed in the neck and released from the hospital the following day.
