Palmetto Bay’s municipal candidates are scheduled to take part in a forum and meet-and-greet on Saturday, Oct. 3, ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
Around Palmetto Bay is hosting the nonpartisan event from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Central Makers at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, 12450 SW 152nd Street in Miami. Nearly a dozen candidates for mayor and Council Seats 1 and 3 are expected to participate. Organizers are inviting residents to submit questions in advance to Lisa Merkin at lmerkin@me.com.
