Rajindra Somra, 46, of West Park, was arrested and charged after allegedly shooting at another driver during a road rage confrontation on the Palmetto Expressway near the Florida’s Turnpike overpass on Tuesday afternoon.
Charges Filed
According to an arrest report, Somra allegedly followed the other driver, exited his vehicle, and fired a shot through the front passenger window of the other vehicle. He faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault with a firearm, and illegally discharging a firearm in public.
Arrest
Detectives located and arrested Somra the following day at his workplace in Key Largo. He was booked into jail.
