Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Milton Hirsch denied a request by the Silver Court Mobile Home Park Homeowners Association for a temporary injunction to halt evictions at the Little Havana property. The association filed its motion in June, alleging the property owner lacked government approvals required for the planned removals.
An eviction notice issued by the Urban Group on March 11 cited a change in land use and set a deadline of Sept. 30. It also stated that residents remained responsible for monthly lot rent.
