Miami police said officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his leg shortly after 5 p.m. Sunday near Northwest 15th Avenue and 68th Street in Liberty City. The man has not been identified by authorities.
Police said surveillance footage showed the man leaving a blue Ford Fiesta with a gun and crossing the street. The footage reportedly showed Micah Lendale Tilley, 33, firing a handgun at him, then retrieving a rifle from a Subaru and continuing to shoot as the man ran.
Tilley was arrested on charges including attempted second-degree murder and criminal solicitation. He was held without bond Monday at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
