Man in His 40s Critically Injured in Liberty City Shooting

Miami police are investigating a shooting reported just after 5 p.m. Sunday near Northwest 15th Avenue and 68th Street in Liberty City. Officers went to the area after a ShotSpotter alert and found a man in his 40s.

Miami Fire Rescue medics took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center, where he was in critical condition. Police did not indicate whether a suspect or motive had been identified.
