King tides and weeks of heavy rain flooded streets in South Florida from Saturday evening into Sunday morning. Fort Lauderdale police closed about two miles of A1A because of flooding.
Water levels at Broward’s Port Everglades station reached their highest mark since the station was installed in 2018. The Herald reported moderate coastal flooding, with water about two feet above a normal high tide. More flooding was expected around high tides through Monday.
