Invalid Confirmations Reported
According to the Tax Collector’s office, some residents have shown up at county tax offices holding appointment confirmations generated by unofficial platforms, including ZipAppointments.com. Those confirmations do not appear in the county’s actual booking system.
How to Book Legitimate Appointments
The county says these third-party sites may charge fees and collect personal information without providing valid appointments. Residents should only schedule visits through the official county website at mdctaxcollector.gov.
Anyone who may have used an unauthorized booking site is encouraged to contact the Tax Collector’s Office directly to confirm whether their appointment is valid.
